...I will pay for one woman to get an abortion. I may or may not be joking; I haven't decided yet.
I am just freaking tired of you "Yes on 8" people and your inane reasons to vote for this hateful amendment. You say that it will protect families. How exactly? Have more people started cheating on their spouses since May? Have there been higher rates of child abuse and abandonment in the last five months? "I love you son, but since the gays can get married here I am going to have to put out my cigarette on your face and then abandon you and your mom. Sorry, I have no choice."
If Prop. 8 does pass will all married people magically stop having affairs? Will assholes suddenly stop beating their kids? To me those are the types of behavior that threaten families, not two people who love each other signing a piece of paper thats states they are willing to share property and make certain decisions for one another.
And do not talk to me about anything that may or may not be in the bible. When you can come up with a reason that is based in logic and not mythology and superstition then I might listen to you. Until then, fuck off and read some non-fiction. I suggest you start with Logic for Dummies by Mark Zegarelli.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiigh
I guess I should post since it has been, like, a month. But what to write? Oh! I am in Virginia. Woohoo. Lord! I loathe Tori Spelling. Sorry, there was just a commercial that featured her. (Dry heave) Anyway...where was I? Oh, Virginia. Meh. Actually it is not that bad, I am just bored/lonely/living alone in a mediocre hotel room. The best thing about living here is that I get to see my husband for a few hours every weekend. It is kind of funny... the last couple of weekends Aaron's platoon has been the duty platoon which means that for one of their days of "liberty" his platoon has to stay on base in case terrorists attack the OCS area or something, so on those days we parked behind the McDonald's on base and made out for a few hours. I felt like a freaking teenager. It was great! I did eventually get to take him back to my hotel room and do married people things with him. And I just have to say WOOHOO! Whatever the exercises they are making him do at OCS I hope he keeps doing them because dayamn! I gots me one fine ass husband. Oh, and I love my job, so Virginia is not bad.
