If Propsition 8 Passes...

I am just freaking tired of you "Yes on 8" people and your inane reasons to vote for this hateful amendment. You say that it will protect families. How exactly? Have more people started cheating on their spouses since May? Have there been higher rates of child abuse and abandonment in the last five months? "I love you son, but since the gays can get married here I am going to have to put out my cigarette on your face and then abandon you and your mom. Sorry, I have no choice."

If Prop. 8 does pass will all married people magically stop having affairs? Will assholes suddenly stop beating their kids? To me those are the types of behavior that threaten families, not two people who love each other signing a piece of paper thats states they are willing to share property and make certain decisions for one another.

And do not talk to me about anything that may or may not be in the bible. When you can come up with a reason that is based in logic and not mythology and superstition then I might listen to you.
